Inspired by a child’s notion of “what a house should look like” Partner and architect, Garrick Oliver and his family started with the traditional “A frame” structure as the basis for their treehouse design. This then was deconstructed into a concept about a loaf of bread. The family, including humans, pets, and friends make up the individual components, or slices, with spaces in between. Using natural wood, plexi, and steel, this treehouse stands proud within the Oliver backyard and allows for climbing, swinging, fire pole exiting. And once a year around Halloween, it becomes home to a fortune-telling gypsy as part of the Oliver’s annual haunted Halloween trail adventure!
