Originally known as the Sail Ho Golf Course, The Loma Club has occupied the 9-hole par 3 course since January of 2020. This project was developed through obrARCHITECTURE’s longstanding partnership with Laura Johnson and Luke Mahoney as well as the NTC Foundation. The project includes a 2-phase renovation and addition of a 3,200 square-foot clubhouse currently at the Loma Club and an 18-hole miniature golf course.

The mini golf extension, “Tappers at the Loma Club” and The Loma Club Clubhouse received a renovation with an upscale cocktail bar addition. As this is the first major renovation to the Clubhouse since it was built in 1914, all parties intentionally worked to preserve the historic fabric, yet it is designed to present a more up-to-date look, including a family-friendly aesthetic with hints of classic films like Caddyshack and Happy Gilmore throughout.
